Karbonturk was established in 2021 with the aim of producing activated carbon from biomass, which is highly abundant in Turkey. The initial phase, Phase-0, has been operational since October 2023 with an annual capacity of 1,400 tons, situated in the existing industrial site in Adana (Yumurtalık Free Zone).
Karbonturk utilizes state-of-the-art processes to generate its own electricity. Through advanced technology, the company effectively addresses waste issues by converting organic waste in biomass into energy, contributing to a sustainable energy source.
