Taha Cargo, established in 1998 in Istanbul, quickly became one of the leading logistics companies in Turkey. Initially focusing on trade with Iraq, it gradually expanded to serve the Middle East and parts of Europe. The company specializes in partial load transportation, allowing businesses to save costs by consolidating shipments from different clients into a single load. It also offers international transport services, providing streamlined customs facilitation and fast delivery. In 2013, the company ranked 34th among 58,000 exporters according to data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM). Additionally, it secured 7th place in the logistics sector and was ranked 3rd in exports to Iraq, contributing 17% of Turkey’s total exports to the country.
Emin Taha, the founder and CEO, graduated in Production and Metallurgical Engineering from Baghdad Technical University. He is fluent in Turkish, Arabic, and Kurdish, with a good command of English, which has helped him develop international relations. He served as the Chairman of the Turkish-Iraqi Business Council at DEİK for three terms and now holds the position of Vice President. Additionally, he chaired the Logistics Sector Board at MÜSİAD and contributed to the development of the sector.
