AK-PLAST, which produces PVC profiles and polyethylene packaging, was established in 1992 in Istanbul as a division of AKPA ALUMINUM with the production of plastic blinds and paneling, and in 1993 it took its place in the plastics industry as an independent company by adding the production of polyethylene packaging.
In 1998, by moving to its own factory in Tuzla Chemists Organized Industrial Zone and renewing its machinery with the latest technology, it increased its capacity and increased its product quality and variety.
AK-PLAST has documented its production quality by obtaining the ISO 9001 – 2000 quality certificate in 2004. TSE certificate is also available.
In 2006, it started to manufacture PVC window and door profiles with the brand APLAS. It added PVC roving in 2009 and YEŞİLPEN and BLANCOPLAST patented brand profiles to its production in 2012. In 2014, coex protective tape production started.
By adding a new one to its investments in 2020, it started the production of Greenhouse Cover under the brand of APLAS GREENHOUSE. AKPLAST has an annual production capacity of 8,000 tons of PVC profiles in its production facility of 11,000 mt2, and annual capacity of Polyethylene is 7,000 tons. It exports to 20 countries.
