MEZ Ticaret was founded in 2016, to inherit and honor Sen Ihracat Dis Tic. A.S.’s three generations of legacy in the dry fruits business – founded in 1971. Sen Ihracat was one of the main raisins processor and exporter from Turkey for nearly 50 years. The 6.500 square meter factory building was established over a 16 decare land, where raisins were processed, packed, and exported. Sen Ihracat exported approximately 10.000 metric tonnes of raisins every year, which is 5% of all raisin exports from Turkey. At 2016 – at the top of it’s trade life - Sen Ihracat stopped operations. At that date, Sen Ihracat’s partner and export director Ilhan Zincircioglu has launched his own company – MEZ Ticaret – with 45 years of experience in the dry fruits sector. Mez Ticaret now acts as a trading company, with access to best quality goods via broad range of growers and processors in Turkey. Company has its expertise at conventional and organic dry sultanas and raisins, dried tomatoes, and all other kinds of dried fruits. High quality standards is a “must” in MEZ Ticaret, so we only work with HACCP, IFS,SEDEX and BRC certificated suppliers.
