Pi makina was established in 1972 with the objective of reducing the international dependency of Turkey in earthmoving and construction machines and became the first and only company having manufactured concrete batching plant, concrete finisher, asphalt finisher, trans mixer, motor grader, dozer, loader, backhoes loader and tower crane in line with the foregoing objective.
Since the initial years upon the commencement of corporate history, the company has been involved in the construction of numerous airports, dams, highways and thermal power plants, as well as housing, quarry and mining projects. During the past half century, the earthmoving and construction machines of Pi Makina have been the preference of domestic construction and contracting companies and of international corporations, and the company has got a foothold in the global market. Such achievements have ensured that Pi Makina has attained tens of thousands of machinery and plant sales. Furthermore, Pi Makina, which has been manufacturing parts, systems and tools for private entities and foundation organizations with high domestication rate for more than 10 years, became the first and only company that manufactures oil drilling rigs capable of running automatically and of drilling down to a depth of 7 thousand meters, attaining a status of a noteworthy manufacturer in the defense industry.
At present, Pi Makina, operating over an area of 800 thousands square meters covering both indoor and outdoor manufacturing quarters with more than 1000 employees, performs in its own facilities any steel construction, welded construction, machining, quality control, heat treatment and gear drive and paint operations.
